Modulo Radio for station owners

Modulo is a free, independent radio app for Android and the web. If your station is listed on Radio Browser, listeners can already find it and play it in Modulo.

How Modulo plays your station

• Straight from your server. Modulo connects to your stream URL directly. It doesn't re-host, record, or re-stream your audio, so every Modulo listener is a normal listener in your own stats.
• Nothing added. Modulo never inserts ads into your stream. Your own commercials, IDs, and programming play exactly as you broadcast them.
• Easy to spot. The Android app identifies itself as ModuloRadio/<version> (Android; +https://moduloradio.com/stations) in your Icecast, Shoutcast, or AzuraCast listener stats.
• Built for reliability. Modulo keeps playing through Wi-Fi-to-cellular switches and reconnects automatically when a stream drops, which means fewer listeners lost to bad connections.

Coming soon: free stream monitoring

Modulo already notices when streams go silent, stall, or stop responding. We're building a free way for station owners to claim their station and get an email when their stream has problems, based on what listeners actually experience. No account and no cost.

Corrections and removal

Modulo's station list comes from Radio Browser, an open community directory. To fix your station's name, logo, stream URL, or tags, update your listing there, and Modulo picks up the change automatically.

If you'd prefer your station not appear in Modulo, email moduloradio@zohomail.com with the station name and stream URL. We'll remove it from Modulo's search, browsing, and recommendations, usually within a few days, and no app update is needed for it to take effect.
